The queen seems very upset, and confides easily in anyone she doesn't see as particularly influential. She's confided in influential people before, you see, and it got her in so much trouble. But she takes a shine to Dany because of her hair and strange eyes.
("Where did you get them?" She asks, "I've never seen anyone like you before?" But the Queen is not terribly intelligent, though she is kind hearted and mild tempered, and her curiosity is easily sated with a joke or a convenient lie.
She tells her all sorts of things, what her favorite colors are and which are her favorite dogs, how she likes her apartments dressed and her beds made, what chocolates are the most delicious, how sad it is that people are how she wished her brother the Holy Roman Emperor had sent a better general to Valmy to free them… She misses her brother and the rest of her family very much.
She also jokes that her husband has a secret very well kept, that no one will ever find. If she is asked about this, she will joke about how a peasant like Dany, even an exotic one, would never understand.
